Construction of the Westfield shopping mall, Bradford, 2014. A construction worker on an overhead walkway enters the site. The victorian former Nat West Bank building, and the 1970s Arndale House are in the background. The Westfield site was cleared by the end of 2006. Due to the global financial downturn, the developers were unable to attract flagship department stores to the project until 2013. The site was nicknamed 'The Bradford hole.' Construction work began in January 2014.
