Draw the two pieces of paper out together and laythem on a piece of glass or other flat surface and removethe water from between them by scraping with the flatsqueegee. It is usually safer to put a piece of oil cloth, oroiled paper, over the carbon paper to protect it from abrasion,and to start squeegeeing from the center of the print, work-ing towards the edges. After the water has been removedby the squeegeeing the print is placed between dry blotters andunder moderate pressure for about fifteen minutes, and it willbe ready for development.
