TACOMA, Wash. (June 11, 2017) Retired Army Sgt. Aaron Boyle, a Purple Heart recipient from Tacoma, Washington, waves to the crowd before throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Tacoma Rainiers Salute to Armed Forces Day at Cheney Field. The Rainiers, the Seattle Mariners triple-A affiliate, dedicate one day a year to the military members, past and present, and this year they defeated the Las Vegas 51s by a score of 5-3.
