Leaves linear or elongated-lanceolate, en-tire, sessile and slightly clasping, acute, acumi-nate, or the lowest obtusish at the apex, 2-$long, i-5 wide; thyrsus narrow, dense; bractsovate or ovate-lanceolate, large, cordate-clasp-ing, acute, or acuminate; fruiting pedicels 2-^long; calyx-segments lanceolate, striate-nerved,acuminate, 3-s long; corolla blue, i long ormore, the tube broadly dilated above the calyx,the limb nearly equally 5-lobed; capsule acute,twice as long as the calyx.
