The viewswere there without doubt, so we were justified in calling ahalt as often as we liked. The look-out is a railed platform overhanging theperpendicular sides of the precipice at a giddy oneself to stand there, an indescribable view isobtained. The abyss is a riot of sub-tropical vegetation ofmany brightly coloured bushes, trees, and shrubs, whichmake a striking contrast to the sombre grey foliage of thegum-trees. The mountains terminate in striking promontories, andthe waters of the ocean can be seen lapping the shores ofmany a bay and islet. It would certainly be difficult toexaggerate the almost bewildering charm of the outlook,. BAY, SYDNEY
