African artwork below apartheid razor wire at the Egazini Artwork Project, Grahamstown, South Africa
The Egazini Project is an example of self help, whereby township artists sell their artwork, which here includes ink prints of different sizes. The razor wire is original, from the days when the building housing the project was an apartheid police station. A township tour includes a visit, as tourists are a valuable source of income.
