Paris, France - September , 2018 The River Seine and its collection of scenic bridges are one of the highlights of any trip to Paris, France. But, like any self-respecting bridges, many of these are increasingly littered with daft 'love locks'. Topically, the city of Paris started removing these from the Pont des Arts in September 2018, effectively ending the tourist tradition of attaching "love locks" to the bridge. For years, visitors have been attaching locks with sentimental messages to the bridge in symbolic acts of affection. But they still seem to survive on the adjacent Pont de la Concorde, as seen here. But for how long, I wonder?
