The record describes it asto be set ofT fronting on the eight rod way and joining on .SamuelMannings north line, said acre to always lye open and 1752 the proprietors voted to confirm the sale of the lot onwhich the old meeting-house stood to Jabez Holden, and to appro-priate money to pay expenses of committees and Mr. Campbell forhis time and trouble in recording their acts and votes in the past.
