Zebra migrations to the Boteti
Each year as the interior of the Makgadikgadi Pans dry up thousands of Zebra and Wildebeest migrate to the banks of the Boteti River. Though the waters of the Okavango seldom reach this deep into the interior. Thermal activity produces a few hot mineral springs and seeps that provide enough moisture to keep the animals alive through the worst of the dry season.
