Cangrande or Can Francesco della Scala, lord of Verona, 1291-1329. He wears a blue cap, pink cape with hanging sleeves lined with fur, belted scarlet robe, gauntlets and holds a two-handed sword in blue scabbard. From his sarcophagus in the church of Santa Maria Antica, Verona.
