Ayette Indian and Chinese Cemetery

I stumbled upon this cemetery by chance it is located in the village of Ayette around 14km south of Arras. It is signposted off the main road going through the village but it is along a very narrow track which I believe leads to a farm, I parked close up to the cemetery wall and was just about blocking the road. Many Indian Army servicemen fought in France and the Chinese were used as a labour force to build camps, roads and such like behind the lines. I know little of their history beyond what is mentioned in keyword section.
