Oxford, England - 28 December 2018 Opened in 2010, the striking Oxford University Earth Sciences building blends in nicely with many of its older neighbouring buildings in South Parks Road. Its faade is clad in Clipsham stone, a popular choice in Oxford through the centuries. Its rooftop- shown here - is packed with ventilation ducts and funnels from fume cupboards and laboratory analytical equipment, making it look a bit like a cruise liner at sea!
