Its abundant andfoaming waters roll impetuouslyover enormous masses of blackrocks; they are received in a spa-cious circular basin, whence theyprecipitate themselves to the road,after working several mills. A smallbridge thrown across the torrent,and some cabins covered withblocks of granite, heighten thepicturesque effect of this grandpicture.
