In the middle thereof appears the Ifland Spain, the chiefeft part of the Northern America, reckons in length from the Eaft-Point of Yucatan, to the place where JMechoacon juts againft Gua- dalajara three hundred and fixty Leagues ; and in breadth from the Northern parts oifanucos, to the Southern Ocean, a hundred and eighty Leagues; befides a great part which lies to the Northward , behind inacceflable Mountain
