It be- gins blooming when first planted and continues throughout the season until stopped by frost. Fol- iage rich glossy green, often shaded deep bronze. Flowers deep red, changing to a beautiful clear rose in the fully open flower 10 CALCEOLARIA. These belong to the showiest of the greenhouse plants. Their magnificently marked pocket- shaped and richly col- ored flowers * pro- duced in great abun- dance, make them highly decorative. Seed should be sown in July or August. Greenhouse perennial.
