Mushroomhouse by Earl A. Young (1889 - 1975). Over a period of 52 years, Young designed and built 31 houses in Charlevoix, Michigan. However, he was never a registered architect. The special feature of Charlevoix's Mushroom Houses are the boulders from which they were individually constructed by architect Earl Young.
