Castle of the Dukes of Frias. IX to XII century. Tower keep
The first mention of the fortress dates back year 867. Originally it was a defensive fortress on a highly strategic point in the fight against the Muslims. The castle and the church of San Vicente crown the urban layout that surrounds the hill of La Muela and are apexes of the skyline of the city.
