SAN ANTONIO – (June 8, 2017) More than 30 middle school girls from San Antonio and Judson Independent School Districts participated in a SeaPerch Day held at the Ann Barshop Natatorium on the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word as a part of the miniGEMS (Girls in Engineering, Math and Sciences) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Camp. SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater ROV in an in-school or out-of-school setting.
