A transverse incision is made to join the two heredescribed, just below the pubis. The skin and superficial fascia are then dis-sected up and all the inguinal lymphatic glands carefully excised. The tissuesof the cord are then isolated and treated as described in the operation forcastration. The bleeding vessels are carefully caught with hemostatic
