Anderson, Robert Marshall (, 87),was born in Pickaway County, O., February. Co., Cincinnati, O., 1893-98firm of Silk, Anderson, &machine tools, at Cincinnati ; member of theCo., makers of1898-1901; and R. M. Anderson [3, 1862. He is the son of William Marshalland Ellen C. Anderson, and a member of aVirginia family dating back to 1650, his an-cestors having come from border countiesof England and Scotland. His Richard Clough Anderson, of Revolu-tionary services, moved to Kentucky as sur-veyor-general of Virginia military lands in1795. His grandmother was a cousin ofChief Justice John Marshall and of GeneralGeorge Rogers Clark. He received his earlyeducation in the public schools of Circleville.
