GROUP CAPTAIN PELLY-FRY, DSO. - Group Captain James Ernest Pelly-Fry, DSO., was born at King's Langley, Herts in 1911. His home is at Colombo, Ceylon. Educated at Douai School, Berkshire, he was commissioned in the in 1933 and transferred to the in 1935. He was mentioned in Despatches in March 1941, and was awarded the in December 1942 for his part in the low-level daylight attack on the Phillip's works at Eindhoven. Group Captuin Pelly-Fry now commands a station in Bomber Command, Royal Air Force
