Tins wrench, which is made by the Wright Wrench Co ofWorcester, Mass., is an adaptation of the monkey-wrench typeto the pipe-wrench, and it seems to have been done in a verypractical and efficient way. The jaws are faced with toothedor smooth plates, that can be removed when worn, or takenout and replaced the one for the other. The head is movedby a screw and nut, the latter being placed in the enlargedportion of the movable handle, and has bar-boles in it, so thatthe jaws can be forcibly tightened against the work before. THE WRIGHT PIPE WRENCH. there is any attempt at turning. The lever in which the nutis placed gives a very long purchase, and every effort to turnthe pipe causes an increased tightening of the jaws, as will beseen from an examination of the construction. All parts ofthe wrench are made to gauge and are interchangeable, sothat repair parts can be furnished at a small expense ; thisalso facilitates the removal of the jaw-plates, which may betaken out and sharpened and then replaced, or the substitu-tion of new ones when the old are worn out. THE MONOBAR CONVEYOR CHAIN. M\hbai: is the name given by the Link Belt Companies to anew chain for lone-distance conveying and elevating, whichcombines strength, lightness, simplicity and durable qualities, and is destined to take a leading place among^ useful THE DICKERMAN TOOL GRINDER.
