Students study constantly at homeand at school. The Library becomescrowded and quiet as the fateful timedraws near. The Lounge and halls displaystudents frantically trying to read scrawlednotes. Scholars carry textbooks withthem, waiting for spare moments to re-view. There are mysterious absences asstudents finish term papers and reports. Thefinal weekend is spent cramming for minutefacts and big, important ideas. Exammorning arrives and students are tired anddistraught. There is momentary elationafter the first ordeal; however, the trial isnot over, so students return to their , finally, comes the moment of wildexhilaration when finals are finished—untilthe end of the next semester.
