The Ginger Cake Rock, also inBurke County, is a singular pile, uponthe summit of the Ginger Cake Moun-tain. It is a natural stone structure, inthe form of an inverted pyramid, 29feet in height. It is crowned with aslab 32 feetT long and two feet thick,which projects half its length beyondthe edge of the pyramid upon which itis so strangely poised.
