Jones, 86th Airlift Wing commander, presents Senior Airman Thyrith Thach, 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, with a coin at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Jan. 23, 2023. Thach earned the title of Airlifter of the Week because of his efforts while deployed to Romania, where he and his team repaired an aircraft deicer, a machine used to take ice off of aircraft, that allowed the mission to continue without disruption.
