The other section carriesa large metal D at on end and a heavy buckle at the other hobble strap is made smaller or larger by the buckle. Thisrenders it adjustable to any size pastern. When once fitted tothe pastern the hobble strap is applied by slipping the small ^Dof one end through the large D of the other end. Thesesmaller ^Ds carry the main chain. The main chain is 4 feet
