It is apparent thatany number of pieces of tissue, so placed, will necessarily printwith the outlines of the picture in the same relation to theedges of the tissue. The first print is made, transferred, andsqueegeed in the usual manner, and just before it is placedunder pressure four marks are made on the face of the trans-fer paper with a sharp-pointed soft pencil, these marks radiat-ing from the corners of the tissue. After development theprint is placed for five minutes in a ten per cent bath orformaldehyde and allowed to dry. A second print may thenbe made in the registration mask, and when transferring thecorners of this print are registered with the pencil marks onthe transfer paper, all the other operations, including soakingthe first print in cold water, being conducted as usual.
