ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 23, 2018) The San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) transits ahead of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) during an integrated live-fire weapons exercise as part of Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT). Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group is completing the Navy's first East Coast SWATT exercise. SWATT is led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center and is designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units.
