An F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot from the 18th Aggressor Squadron steps into an aircraft March 9, 2021 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The aircraft practiced combat tactics alongside fifth-generation F-22 Raptors from the 199th and 19th Fighter Squadrons for exercise Pacific Raptor. The Alaska-based F-16s, known as ‘Aggressors,’ simulate combat tactics which are likely to be faced in the event of an air-to-air battle to prepare pilots for victory.
