SOUTH CHINA SEA (May 31, 2018) Seaman Bethany Paval, from Sacramento, Calif., fires a .50-caliber machine gun during a weapons qualification course aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89). Mustin is forward-deployed to the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
