AGAPANTHUS UriBELLATUS. (Blue Lily of the Nile.) This is a splendid ornamental plant .bearing large clusters of bright blue flowers on long flower stalks and lasting a long time in bloom. There is no finer plant than this for outdoor decoration, planted in large pots or tubs on the lawn, terrace or piazza. It does well in the house or green- house in Winter, requiring but slight protection. It is a rapid grower, and increases in size and beauty every year; the chief point in its cultivation is to divide the plants before the pots or tubes become overcrowded with roots. With the most or- dinary kind of care, it is a plant that will last forever.
