Brighton, UK. Saturday 23 April 2016. The Big Spring Beach Clean, organised by Surfers Against Sewage, Zero Waste Brighton and The Deans Beach & Environment Volunteers, have seen over 150 people turn out to partake in their biannual beach clean-up. One of the issues highlighted this year are the deposits of palm oil and paraffin by ships in the English Channel. The waste, as seen in pink bucket, has washed up on Sussex beaches and it's ingestion is harmful to dogs and children. Credit: Francesca Moore/Alamy Live News
