After the day's fishing, attended with much disputed results, a banquet at which there were fish for all, concluded the day's outing, the return trip to the city being made at 10 o'clock p. m., via Mt. Clemens. The annual summer out- ing of the club will be held this year in Belle Isle park, July 10. Chas. Plumb sailed on the Steamship Caledonia June 29, for Glasgow, where he will join his family who preceded him a few weeks ago. He w-ill visit France, Belgium, the bulb growing dis- tricts of Holland and his native home in England before his return about Sep- tember I. Hugo Schroeter was married June 30 to Miss Aurelia Russell. The took place at the bride's home at New- port, R. I. Before they take up their residence in the city of the straits they will visit Atlantic City, Philadelphia, Washington and Niagara Falls. Martina I. McHngh, the popular clerk at McHugh Floral Co.'s store, was mar- ried last week to John Higgins. The happy couple is enjoying a trip to Chi- cago and Kansas City, Mo. ?W. 'W. Castle of the Holly, Castle Co., Boston, is spending a few days at Mt. Clemens, Mich., in pursuit of health. He joined the fishing party of the Florists' Club at Algonac. B. Schroeter has planted 5,000 of his rose pink Enchantress from which he to propagate a stock of 200,000 young plants, nearly all of which are al- ready engaged. Harry Pickworth sailed last week for England, his native home, where he will spend a few weeks enjoying a much needed rest. O. A. S
