The Duke poured champagne on the boat - named 800th - and joked with members of the rowing club At 10,15am he unveiled a plaque on a train named University of Cambridge 800 Years 1209 - 2009. And at he unveiled a statue depicting Charles Darwin as a university student to mark the 200th anniversary of the naturalist's birth.
