In a retirement ceremony held on Jan. 16, 2016, co-hosted by the Army Reserve and the University of South Florida, Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Talley, chief of the Army Reserve, recognized Maj. Gen. Luis Visot for his more than 37 years of service to the Army and the nation. Maj. Gen. Visot and his wife, Dr. Cindy Visot, were both honored for their extensive time and contributions to their community, to their civilian occupations and to the Soldiers, civilians and families of the Army Reserve.
