A pair of German percussion pistols,circa 1850. Octagonal barrels with rifled bore in 12 mm calibre with adjustable rear sights on the engraved tang. The percussion locks engraved en suite with lavishly cut hammers and spring-loaded nipple protectors,the lockplates each inscribed with "G. Saxeven". Carved full stocks with wooden forestock ends and engraved nickel silver furniture(one stock inlay is missing). Wooden ramrods.
