Moore, the new president of the Lake Shore Elec-tric Railway Co., is a pioneer in the promotion of interurban elec-tric railways. It is estimated that since Mr. Moore made his firststreet railway investment in 1S89, he has been interested in tractionlines, both city and suburban, aggregating some 3,000 miles. Theoperations of the Everett-Moore Syndicate during the past 10 yearshave practically all been financed by him. He is an indefatigableworker, a man of ability, magnetic personality and is very with these qualities is a strong liking for the traction business, especially the financialend of it. It is not strange, there-fore, that he has been successfuland that his ability is recognizedby those with whom he comes incontact.
