The boileroperates with air pressure for air linessupplied by the Karpen building througha regulating valve with pressure of 80lbs., and on the low pressure of the valve20 lbs. The gauges and gauge glassesshow the movement of the water out ofthe boiler, and when the return trap is inoperation the water gauge glass showsthe movement of the water into theboiler. The indicator, one of the laterand more improvements in the mechanismof the traps, provides means whereby aplant with a large number of traps scat-tered over a large area can be watchedvery closely and will avoid any tamper-ing without close inspection and avoidsmuch of the care and labor n
