An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), is a procedure where excess fat and skin is removed from the lower abdomen and the muscles of the abdominal walls are tightened. Here, the excess skin and fat has been excised and the underlying muscles have been stitched to tighten them. The surgeons are now stapling together the ends of the opening.
