The owl spots the photographer LEICESTERSHIRE, ENGLAND ADORABLE IMAGES show an owl playing hide and seek with the photographer.  Images show the little owl having a ball playing peek-a-boo with the photographer in the lush field of purple heather.  The little owl, also known as the owl of Athena or owl of Minerva, is a bird that inhabits much of the temperate and warmer parts of Europe, the Palearctic east to Korea, and North Africa.  It was introduced into Britain at the end of the 19th century and into the South Island of New Zealand in the early 20th century. There are now believed to be about 6,000 pairs of little owls in Britain.  These images were captured by logistics manager Warren Price (53) from Bedfordshire, England.  Warren captured the cheeky little owl in the moorland in Leicestershire on his Canon R5.  ?The Little Owl using the moorland to hunt and catch prey amongst the seasonal heather,? said Warren.  ?I love watching the behaviour of the animals I am photographing, each shows you their personality even just for a moment.  ?It's always a thrill to capture moments like this. I am very lucky. ?I have seen birds of prey using the heather for catching mice and voles before.  ?People seem to respond really well to these photos, not just the owl they also love the vivid colours of the  ENDS
