Col. Tom Bladen, 104th Fighter Wing operations group commander, visits refugee students at Highland Elementary School in Westfield, Massachusetts, June 26, 2017. The visit served as a means to help the children understand why they hear the loud screeching F15 jets flying overhead when playing outside and to help them understand the 104th Fighter Wing flies to protect. Bladen speaks to the students about the F-15 Eagle and explains to the refugee students on how the pilots practice a lot just as soccer players practice.
