Garganta del Chorro (Chorro Gorge) near Ardales, Andalucia, Spain
The Garganta del Chorro (Chorro Gorge) is a cleft in the limestone through which runs the dangerous catwalk called Camino del Rey, much loved by daredevil mountaineers and adventurous walkers. The high-altitude, dilapidated path was built in the 1920s as part of a hydroelectric project. It is situated some 50km north of Malaga in a remote spot not far from the town of Ardales.
