Cosmopolis is a town of about 1,200 in-habitants, located in the Grays Harbor dis-trict, a short distance from Aberdeen, withwhich city it is connected by an electriccar line. It has both railroad and watertransportation. The principal industries arethe manufacture of lumber, shingles, salmonpacking, etc., while a number of mercantileestablishments supply the wants of the com-munity. The
