All specimens examined were apparently collected in forested areas. Distribution Members of this genus are found in the western, central, northeastern, and eastern portions of the United States (California, Colorado, Vermont, Massa- chusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Illinois, and Kansas) and in eastern Canada (On- tario) .
