It is more stout, smaller and lacks characteristic lateral tooth of pronotum. Material examined: $, « Carin Chebà, 900-1100 m, L. Fea »/«Typus» (label later added) I « indicus Bergr.» (Gestro's handwriting), in coll. Mus. Genova; 2 33, 3 $$ with same locality label belong to Mus. Gen. (3 $?), coll. Mus. Brussels (1 3), coll. Heiss (3). The first male is designated as lectotype, all other specimens as paralectotypes. This species shows also the characteristics of the genus Paraneurus Jacobs, 1986, and is therefore transferred to that genus. Brief description Male: elongate, habitus fig. 8a. Body finely granulate, not shiny. Head: shorter than width across eyes (22/24). Clypeus sub- parallel with rounded apex, not reaching apex of antennal segment I. Genae as long as clypeus, visible from above. Antenniferous tubercles short, truncate anteriorly. Postocular lobes rounded, not exceeding outer margin of eyes. Antennae about times as long as width of head, relative length of segment
