REPORT OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, The last annual report of the Executive Committee con-tained a full account of the formation, the purpose and the dis-tinctive plan of this School, the details of its various departments,with the success and hopes of each. It will not be necessary,therefore, to give to-day more than a brief account of the workof the past year with its results. The School continues to be indebted to Mrs. Hemenway forthe annual rent of the building. Churches and individuals stillprovide for the expenses of the various departments. While thegeneral character of these departments remains the same, thework accomplished grows more and more satisfactory. In the DRESSMAKING DEPARTMENT one hundred andthirty-six women and girls have received instruction during thepast year—and its Committee feel that the good results of theteaching are steadily increasing.
