Thebaggage compartment at the forward end includes the motor-mans cab. These cars are of the same width as the straightpassenger cars, and their sills are of the same dimensions. Thepassenger compartment seats thirty passengers, and foldingseats are placed against the sides of the baggage compartmentfor the use of smokers. The toilet room is located in the pas-senger compartment next the partition. These and the straightpassenger cars are of the Brill patented semi-convertible type. The baggage and express cars are very strongly constructed,as they are expected to carry heavy loads. The side sills are5^4 ins- x 7V% iis., and are substantially trussed.
