Close up of the rusting hull of the SS Maheno.

Close up of the rusting hull of the SS Maheno. A perfect day to visit the SS Maheno, the most well known shipwreck of Australia. With clear blue sky and dramatic clouds, the rust texture of this skeleton of an ocean liner is showing off in all it's urban decay glory. The ship, which has been resting on the shore of Fraser Island since 1935, was in pretty good shape until used as a target practice during WWII.
