Before harvesting is begun the area on which the crop is grown must be measured by the district superintendent or his representative, and by the contestant, and the former must certify to the exact size of the A bearing patch of strawberries with the straw mulch removed from the rows in spring 6. Two disinterested, responsible persons must certify on the record that the yields and prices recorded are correct. 7. A brief story, telling how the crop was grown, giving details of the work connected with it, and describing any particular features that were noticed by the contestant, must be submitted on prize day with the crop records. 8.
