Cassiopeia constellation. Optical image of the northern constellation Cassiopeia, the Queen. North is at top. The brightest stars in this constellation form a distinctive W shape, centred on the bright star Tsih (Gamma Cassiopeiae). It is best seen in autumn from the northern hemisphere, but due to its high latitude it can be seen all year round for most northern observers.
